1. Who we are

Plow & Promise ("we", "us") is operated by [legal business name and state of formation]. These terms cover our website, the Land Finder, Land Reports, the Vault and our other tools (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. What the Service is, and isn't

The Service gathers public information about land and homes and explains it to help you research a purchase. It is not a survey, appraisal, home inspection, engineering or soil study, perc test, title search, or legal, tax, financial or real estate advice. Public data can be out of date or wrong for a specific property. Before you buy, verify everything that matters with your county and state and with licensed professionals: a surveyor, an inspector, a well driller, a septic professional, a title company and a real estate attorney.

Scores and verdicts are our opinions, based on rules we publish and the information available. They are not a promise about a property's value, condition or suitability.

3. Your account

You may use most tools without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in secure and give accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.

4. Orders and payment

Prices are shown before you buy. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't see or store your full card number. [Refund policy: for example, a full refund if we can't deliver a report for the property you ordered. Owner to decide.]

We keep the Sabbath: orders and checkout pause from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset (Eastern time).

5. Referrals

If you ask us to introduce you to a local real estate agent, we share your request with one agent only, with your consent. We may receive a referral fee from that agent's brokerage if you buy through them, at no cost to you. A referral relationship never changes a score or anything a report says. 6. Your documents

Files you put in your Vault stay yours. We store them so you can use them, and we don't share them without your permission. You can delete them or download everything at any time.

7. Fair use

Please don't copy the Service in bulk, scrape it, resell reports, interfere with how it runs, or use it for anything unlawful. Reports are for your own personal use in deciding on a property.

8. Our content

The Service's design, text, scores and reports are ours or our licensors'. Public data stays public; our maps credit their sources.

9. Limits on our responsibility

10. Changes
